The Start screen is where you can keep track of your favorite apps and desktop programs, your friends, and your favorite websites and files. Some apps are on your start Screen already. If you want to see all your apps, slide up from the middle of your Start screen. Or, if you're using a mouse, click the down arrow in the lower left corner. Apps view is also where new apps you install go by default. They'll be labeled New, so they're easy to find. You can sort apps by name, date installed, most used, or by category. You can also search for specific apps. You can select apps to pin to your start screen from Apps view. You can pin as many at a time as you'd like. Press and hold, or right click to select an app, and then tap or click Pin to Start. When you pin an app, it shows up at the end of your Start screen, but you can move it wherever you want. You can pin other things to Start to, like friends from the People app, your favorite websites, or folders that you use often. Your Start screen is yours to organize, personalize, and make your own.
