Art Card: Pokémon Trading Card Game Logo and FAQ Series Attacks Logo Narrator says: Every great battle is based on the players’ attacks and strategy. Since attacking ends your turn, you’ll want to check that you have done all your available actions to set up and protect your Pokémon before you attack A Pokémon Trading Card board game is commencing in the background with it demonstrating different attack moves with multiple different Pokémon cards being played by a player. Narrator continues saying: Choose the attack you’d like to use and check to see if you have the correct number and type of Energy attached to your Active Pokémon. For each Energy symbol, you must have an attached Energy card of the matching type. Talonflame Pokémon card and two Fire energy cards are shown as an example, highlighting the attack move on the card and showing the energy cards needed to be able to play the move. Narrator says: The Colorless symbol is like a wild card—any type of Energy will work. Be sure to check out the weakness and resistence to see how they effect your attack and the resulting damage on your opponent's active Pokémon. Fighting energy card is shown to designate the wild card aspect of the colorless energy symbols. It then cuts to a Boltund card from the opponent to highlight the weaknesses section. Narrator continues: Tell your opponent which attack you’re using, then, add the correct amount of damage counters on your opponent’s Pokémon. Shot of board game zooms out to show both Player 1 and Player 2's hands of cards matching up against each other. "Name" (upper left), "Hit Points" (upper right), "Attack Cost" (middle left), sections are all pointed out on card. Damage counter coins are placed on opposing players cards. Narrator says: Many attacks have a variety of extra effects. Make sure to check your attacks and Abilities by reading all the text on the card, so you can take full advantage of what your Pokémon can do. Camera zooms in on Player 1's Talonflame card to display the Attack and Ability sections. Camera zooms out and Art Card is displayed with Pokémon Trading Card Game Logo and FAQ Series Attacks Logo.
