Art Card: Pokémon Trading Card Game Logo and FAQ Series Damage Logo Narrator says: The primary goal of most attacks is to do damage to the opponent’s Active Pokémon. A Pokémon Trading Card board game is commencing in the background with it demonstrating different attack moves and Energy cards being used. Narrator continues saying: The amount of damage done is the number listed on the right side of the card next to the attack name. Jolteon Pokémon Card is shown. "Name" (upper left), "Hit Points" (upper right), "Attack Cost" (middle left), sections are all pointed out on card. Damage amount displayed on the lower right portion of the card next to the attack name is highlighted in a hexagon to point out amount of Damage done to other player. Both attack name and damage amount are then highlighted. Narrator says: If an attack does damage, the player puts damage counters on the opponent’s Pokémon. Damage counters are used to track how much damage a Pokémon has taken. Some card effects refer to putting damage counters directly on a Pokémon. Placing damage counters in this way is not affected by Weakness, Resistance, or other effects that change the damage of attacks. Damage coins are put on opposing players Pokémon card. Flame cut scene. One 50 and four 10 damage counter chips are shown on a Stunfisk card lowering the cards health from 120 to 30. Camera zooms in to Ability section of the card highlighting the text that says "put 3 damage counters on the Attacking Pokémon". Flame cut scene. Narrator continues: Each damage counter placed by these attacks is equal to 10 damage. Damage remains on a Pokémon even if that Pokémon moves to the Bench or evolves. Damage counters are not removed from a Pokémon unless it is healed, Knocked Out, or otherwise removed from play. Three 10 damage counter chips are placed on Jolteon card. Camera spins back over to the Stunfisk card with one 50 and four 10 damage counter chips. Three scenarios are shown, the first is the card being healed by a Pokémon Center Lady card, the second is the player being knocked out by taking enough damage to drain its life points, and the third is removing the cards from play. Camera zooms out and Art Card is displayed with Pokémon Trading Card Game Logo and FAQ Series Damage Logo.
