[MUSIC PLAYING] Adding a media streaming device, like the Google Chromecast, will let you watch your favorite content on any HDTV. Set up only takes a few minutes. Plug your Chromecast into the HDMI port on your TV. Power is supplied through the USB cable. One end of USB connects to Chromecast and the other can either be plugged into the TV USB port or into a wall outlet, using the power adapter.
Switch your TV's input until you see the Chromecast set up screen. On your computer or mobile device, go to google.com/chromecast/setup. There, you'll download the Chromecast set up app. The app will connect to Chromecast and walk you through getting connected to your Wi-Fi network.
One of the activities that you can do with Chromecast is called Casting. This allows you to send content from an Android mobile device to your television screen. Touch the Cast Screen button, and then select Chromecast, and the content will appear on the television. Once the movie starts playing on your TV, you can still use your device for other things, like checking your email or playing games. Just switch back to the app again if you want to pause, fast forward, or rewind.
